Incredible conversation with Ambassador Andrew Young back in 2017. Emory University was hosting the event, we called it “Ultimately Human”. In front of a live audience, I presented some of my works and had the opportunity to engage in a dialogue with a living legend. We shared memories of me meeting Archbishop Tutu and the Ambassador knowing him closely for decades.
We shared our deep affection to the great Maya Angelou and Ambassador Andrew Young has inspired me to paint this incredible lady from Rwanda. Here we are, me, the student of humanity, and him, one of the most shining examples of a truly great human being of our time.
